Project Description:
Over the last few years I have seen more and more take offs of the Ambient Orb. And while I think that is an interesting concept, my inner geek is more interested in the methods that could be used to generate that kind of percentage, than the actual concern of how to display such a percentage.
So I started playing with estimated values in my own life (i.e. The day of the week, the hour of the day, the minute of the hour, etc.) and more comically than not found that most of the time, at least based on this crude basis, I should be happier than I am actually most days. This new found inspiration has renewed my smile on my face, put a spring in my step, and possibly made me more receptive for a recently formed romantic relationship.
As it has helped me, it could likely help others, so I will be sharing it when I have time. Either just as an algorithm, or perhaps an application... That is yet to be determined.

2009-12-10 • I have been talking to a friend who is looking for an iPhone App idea. This could very easily be an app so we will see. If not I will get a version up here when I get some time.
2010-02-01 • After working with another piece of code which direct drew an image using PHP, I have devised a display window of ideal parameters also in PHP. It needs a few tweaks to be a unique image on every call. Once I have that I can put together a good enough sample to live on this page.
